I’m Dave, a passionate tutor, trainer, and assessor dedicated to helping others through education and support. I specialise in delivering non-accredited courses such as Alcohol and Drug Skills Awareness, Alcohol and Drug Knowledge Awareness, and Cannabis Awareness.
I tailor Trauma Informed Practice sessions for specific organisations, having worked with a care home for asylum seekers in Manchester and a homeless charity in Rotherham. My expertise extends to Mental Health and Substance Use, highlighting their link to suicide. I believe in the power of ‘Lived Experience’ to transform lives, helping volunteers transition into paid work.
I specialise in delivering courses that are aimed at equipping the workforce with the required skills and knowledge to tackle complex and multi-faceted issues, such as Drug and/or Alcohol issues, for example; Cannabis Awareness, Mixing Cocaine and Alcohol (potential impact), Working with Asylum Seekers and dealing with Trauma.
